JDM Option...
The latest JDM Option dvd from Japan was released to the International market this week. Featured is the Irwindale, California Final Round 8 of the D1GP Drifting series. Notice the bottom corner of the cover shows 'IRISH INVASION' - a feature on Darren McNamara who shocked the world with his drifting in USA...Well done Darren!

Cosworth...Memories...
Well as you know I like all cars, of course im biased towards Japanese cars, everyone has their favourites, but I like German, American etc too. I always had a soft spot for the Ford Sierra Cosworth...and when I got the chance to check out this one I was speechless. That part of me is still inside and I guess always will be. You really have to appreciate a car of this standard in such amazing condition...Here are some photos!
The Engine bay is simply a work of art...
A shot of the back, with mirror showing underneath...
AMAZING, just like brand new...

Happy St. Patrick's Day...
St. Patrick's Day is with us,
The day when all that's seen
To right and left and everywhere
Is green, green, green!
And Irish tunes they whistle
And Irish songs they sing,
Today each Irish lad walks out
As proud as any king.
I'll wear a four-leaf shamrock
In my coat, the glad day through,
For my father and mother are Irish
And I am Irish too!
Have a great day everyone, wherever you are...

D1GP on PS2...
Well lastnight I had some free time, which was good, so I relaxed at home with family and enjoyed some PS2 action, with D1 Grand Prix Drifting!
After some practice in the Blitz R34 of Nomura Ken, I entered the D1 series and qualified in FIRST place in my second round at Nikko, 100 points (^_^)
Next stop Bihoku Circuit...
Final round at Tsukuba Circuit
I was in the final against Kazama...
But I lost after 'Sudden Death' and a crash (T_T)
Jake was watching it all, he was definetly laughing at me in this photo because I crashed haha

Pro Drift License Day...
Here is quick video from the Pro Drift Ireland License Day. It was held at the famous Rosegreen Track in Tipperary and the conditions were awful, heavy heavy rain, but this didn't stop the drivers performing to a great standard! Roll on the season...

C1 Racing Battle...
Well today it arrived, all the way from Japan...
Of course one of the first things I had to do was take the good old AE86 'Hachi-Roku' onto the Shutokou for some highway racing...
Then I found this...
It really is a fun game. Imagine D1GP mixed with Gran Turismo or Enthusia. Its VERY limited to Japanese, so if you can't read Hiragana much it will be difficult, but with time you can guess and get by! There are some GREAT cars in the game, the JUN lemon WRX, HKS Lancer Evo, etc, all the time attack cars and many D1 cars! The circuits make it even better too, Nikko, Tsukuba, Suzuka etc, and of course the open roads! (^_^)
A'PEX RX7...It begins...
I have been very busy recently, and also started making some plans for when im back in Japan, but in the evenings I managed to make some time for this...
It all started with this little box...
It all started with this little box...
And some crazy instructions (90% in Japanese)...
In goes the Rear end, diff, suspension etc...
Finally, a rolling chassis, with exhaust too...
On goes the FD RX7 Shell, Vertex kit and Bride interior...
Starting the A'PEX Graphics...
One side and bonnet finished...
The Finished piece...very happy (^_^)
I have to say it was VERY rewarding and fun building. I have not had as much time to build a model or car etc recently, but maybe I will make more time now...Im thinking SIL-80 next.
