You read any guide books, any websites etc and first places you hear of to visit in Japan will be Asakusa and Kamakura, just a short train ride from Tokyo or Yokohama. It's also the same when staying in Japan. The first thing people say to you is 'Have you been there?' To be honest the first thing that drew me into Japan many years ago were the cars, but oh how it has changed over those years. Actually now from study and living experience the cars have taken a back seat. There is so much more to Japan, and I hope I can make other people see that when they visit this beautiful country. They do say a picture says a thousand words, so I wil let them do the talking...enjoy!
Asakusa Temple...
Kamakura...the seaside town, beautiful...Always wash hands before entering sacred places...culture!
Sensitivity and attention to detail in these gardens is the Japanese way of life. When you study and learn more about the country and Japan's culture, you can relate it more to everything, including cars. The 100% effort in drifting, racing. Tuning cars, the perfection used. It all leads back to the past and culture of Japan...
When you walk to the top of Kamakura you see this...
