Yokohama by Day...

Back to Yokohama for some checking out and catching up!

Ahh I just never get tired of Yokohama...Guess it's meant to be!
As a city, it just feels so perfectly balanced, and suited to me!
It's got something for everyone...including Chinatown!
We didn't stay long, but got some 'tourist day' pics :p

Toyota...

Was in Daiba recently, would be rude not to stop by Toyota H/Q...

Random Snap...

Hachi Roku cake! BIG thank you to Aiko for a GREAT day :)

Chichibu...

Some photos from Chichibu, Saitama-ken (Miki's hometown). Chichibu is a really nice place, friendly, relaxed, and very VERY countryside. Luckily we were there at Festival time too!

The Chichibu Ryusei Festival takes place mid October, and is literally a Rocket festival...with alot of history from the Dragon! A long trek out to the mountains and you're greeted by 1000s of people making there way up to the hills to watch...A Great day out!

Everyone brings their foods/beers and relax for the day

Huge Rockets are made all year round...they build up like this...to immitate the style of the Dragon, before take off...AMAZING!

Arai Family...Arigato, Always! Can't wait for Summer Matsuri!
We then took a quick drive up the Chichibu Touge roads...
Check out this view over the mountains...Great city - Chichibu!

Disney Sea...

Some snaps from our last trip to Disney Sea (not for everyone, but trust me, its worth a visit. Having passed Disney LOTS of times, I finally got the chance to visit, with Miki. Now I can't wait to go back, was a great time! I was reluctant at first with the crowds, crazy girls loving Disney, but the shows, rides and scenery are impressive!

There is simply nothing like this in Ireland, even Europe?!...
The scale of the park is just HUGE, like it's own city!
Of course we had to take some of our own night time photos!
Last thing at night, Fireworks show..then off for dinner!

Random Snaps...

Beautiful winter Sunset over Osaka city... Niiice!

Tokyo, by Night...

Having had a great time catching up with friends, and a little business, Miki and Me decided to enjoy spending time in Tokyo!

As crazy as it is, it's still great being in Tokyo, I realised how much I had missed this crazy, buzzing city! Roll on the future move...

Photo Catch Up...

Well I had a few Blog Entries written up and then my account went crazy! Been VERY busy to now, but finally an end of year update!

Guns N Fu*kin Roses!

Had some tickets to the recent Guns N Roses concert in Belfast...

You just never know what to expect when you go to a Guns N Roses concert. You could get a complete no show, a riot, or the best musical experience of your life. But that's half the fun, as any GNR fan will tell you, expect anything as they come on late, and play to late, rocking the place! This night was no different. Having seen GNR before in 2006, I would safely say this is their best concert in a LONG time, they really are back to their best. Belfast has been called the best night of the 2010 tour so far in Europe...simply AWSOME!
It would have been rude not to go, before leaving for Japan!
Of course I had my camera with me for some cool photos/video!
Here's a quick compilation video I took from the night...
As Axl would say, Thank You, and Good Fu*kin Night!!

Heatwave!

Heatwave is usually one of the most attended shows back in Ireland, luckily this year I got time to drop by with the newly finished AE86 to enjoy the show and weekend with friends! Here's some photos...
LOTS of variety of cars, from full tune Supras, to Euro VW's...
One of my favourites was this DC2 fronted EG Civic...Awsome!
SERIOUS, big power Rotaries were in attendance too! Stunning!
More BHP, with Mark 'Buff' Lunney's BN Sports Drift Supra...
More Euro, this very well finished G60 Polo was looking great!
Top Secret tuned BNR34 Skyline stole the show, in my opinion!
My buddy Eoin was there with his 20v swapped AE86...
I really liked this E46 BMW...328ci...SUPER CHARGED!
Finally a photo of the AE86...it enjoyed the show and did VERY well..
